Dover car thief makes off with dog

Once again, police are searching for a stolen car with a dog inside. A car thief made off with 9-year-old Sherman, a brown, black and white beagle owned by Sheila and Michael Sontag of Berkeley’s South Seaside Park section. Sherman was in the front seat of Michael Sontag’s Ford pick-up truck when Sontag left the vehicle in the parking lot at Ortley Plaza, on Route 35 in Ortley Beach, shortly
