Apartment fire kills one in Somerset

Fire swept through a North Center Avenue apartment building early Monday, claiming the life of an unidentified man and leaving up to a dozen people homeless, according to the Somerset County Control Emergency Center.

Tri-Towns Church Women United’s 11th annual Christmas in the Mountains tour of homes will be held Dec. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Dec. 10 from 1 to 4 p.m.
